[The Courier-journal] NEW ALBANY: Ada T. Brown, 89, died Wednesday at her home. She was the former Ada Freeman, a retired baker for Floyd Memorial Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters Mary Gregory, Norma Barnett, Juanita Connors and Katherine Ralph; a son, Billy Brown; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Owen, Louisville. Burial: Evergreen, Louisville. Visitation: 3-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts: Hospice & Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
