George B. Allen, 53, of Pleasant Dale, was born in Wheaton, Kas. He died Oct. 17 in a Lincoln hospital.
Mr. Allen had spent most of his life in Lincoln, with the exception of nine years in Chicago and the past three years in Pleasant Dale. He was employed by Sears - Roebuck Co. for five years. He was a member of Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by his wife, Velma; two daughters, Vera Allen of Beatrice and Mrs. Shirley Bauer of Pleasant Dale; a son, Cpl. Donald Allen of Fort Riley, Kas.; three brothers, Walter C. of Naperville, Ill., and Emory and Loys both of Lincoln; three sisters, Mrs. Arzella Ray, Mrs. LaVerne Probst and Arlene Allen, all of Lincoln; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday. Burial was in Pleasant Dale. Dr. Frank Pfoutz officiated at the services.
