Jessie Munday Jackson, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at her home. She was born March 10, 1940 in Muhlenberg County to the late Ellis Walker Munday and Alice Elkins Munday. Jessie was a retired registered nurse for Drs. Litsey and Schubach and Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital and was a home health nurse. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Birkhead. She is survived by a sister, Letha Cecil and her husband Mark. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
