Charles Edwin Solly, 80 of Kirbyville died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home.
Born January 5, 1941 to Leon and Alice Solly, he was in the Air Force from 1960-1964. He later worked as a welder.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Black; children, Mona Williams, James Elliott and Courtney, Charles Edwin Solly, Jr. and Jennifer, Sammy Solly and Edith, Darilyn Chester and Gary, Tiffany Davis and Allen; brother, Fred Solly and Kathy; sister, Joyce Willis and Dale; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Leon and Alice Solly; brothers, Robert Solly, Joe Solly, Gerald Solly; sister, Louise Folsom and husband Clarence; grandson, Raymond Williams, Jr.; great granddaughter, Jaiden Solly.
