Frank X. Selk Jr., 88, of 613 E. Brooks St. died Friday, Oct. 10, 1997, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
Born Dec. 14, 1908, in Galesburg to Frank X. and Edna Berggren Selk, he married Pauline Ashbaugh. She preceded him in death. He later married Betty Wright.
Surviving are one son, Frank X. III of Colchester, and one half brother, Harry Berggren of rural Alexis. He was preceded in death by one sister.
A Galesburg resident most of his life, he was a printer for the Register-Mail for 20 years, retiring in 1972.
Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
