Joyce Wanda Bailey, 78, of Evening Shade died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born September 6, 1929 in Zion, Arkansas, the daughter of Isom Orr and Della Mae (Fudge) Felts. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Joyce is survived by four sons: Gary, Chan and Tracy Bailey all of Evening Shade and Ronnie Bailey of Calico Rock; one daughter, Remona Clough of Evening Shade; two brothers: Daniel Ozel Felts of Jonesboro and Tommy Felts of Placerville, California; and three sisters: Mary McKennon of Russellville, Dorothy Qualls of Evening Shade and Yuvonna Holm of Batesville.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bailey; one son, Leonard Bailey; and one brother, Boyce Wendell Felts.
Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel in Cave City with Brother Noble Wiles officiating.
Pallbearers are Brian Bailey, Dean Bailey, Sean Bailey, Randy Avey, Shannon Bailey and Tommy Hill, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at the Eutopia Cemetery near Cave City under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Batesville.
