Graveside services for Theta Shubert, 89, of Troup will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Whitehouse with Pastor Darryl Crawford officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shubert passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Tyler. She was born September 28, 1932 in Gallatin to David R. Moore and Margarite Cox Moore.
Theta was a member of Whitehouse Church of God. She graduated from Gallatin High School. Her Lord and Savior was #1 in her life. She was a housewife and loved to spend time with family. She also loved to cook and never had to use recipes.
Theta was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Schubert. She is survived by her loving family including two sons, David (Pam) Shubert and Ricky (Tracy) Shubert; four grandchildren, Heath Shubert, Chase Shubert, Chris Shubert and Heather Carter; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
