Mrs. Amanda Sicker, the eldest daughter of Monroe Cooper, died Wednesday, Aug. 6th, of tuberculosis of the bowels, at his home two miles west of town (Wetaug). Interment was made at the Wetaug cemetery.
(James Monroe Cooper married Annie Eliza Daniels on 11 Jul 1872, in Pulaski Co., Ill. A marker in German Reformed Cemetery at Wetaug reads: Amanda Sicker daughter of J. M. & A. E. Cooper.—Darrel Dexter)
