He was married on April 19, 1939 in Warsaw, MO to Rachel Paul who survives of the home.
Mr. Morris owned and operated Lee Morris Trucking Service in Sedalia, MO. for 35 years and was a member of the American Trucking Owners and Operators of America. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War ll, member of the V.F.W. of Blue Springs, had attended Glensted Methodist Church and was a business agent for the Teamster's Union #409 in Stockton, CA.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Richard Morris of Chattanooga, TN and Emory Morris of Odessa, MO; one daughter, Bonnie Morris Conrad of Houston, TX; two brothers, William Morris of Aurora, CO, and Robert Morris of Kansas City, MO; four sisters Devetta Harris of Lees Summit, MO., Beatrice Carpenter of Otterville, MO., Nadyne Epstein and Jeanne Craig both of Kansas City, MO; 11 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Joe C. Morris and two sisters, Betty Ann Morris and Mary Morris Turner Mullins.
