Maude Ester Euton, 91, of Refugio, died Thursday, January 15, 1987 in a local nursing home following a long illness. Born Aug. 11, 1895, in Mart, McLennan County, Texas, she is the daughter of the late Sam Harrison Friday and Leona Elizabeth Russell.
Mrs. Euton was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church.
She is the mother of Melba Euton Stone, Elton Earl Euton, and Kenneth E. Euton. Maude is the sister of Mrs. Ruby O'Donnell, and has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Refugio, Texas. Burial was at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Harris County, Texas, under the direction of Moore Funeral Home.
