Robert (Bobby) E. Booher, Jr, departed Sunday, December 9, 2007, to join the heavenly realm of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Merline Booher Sr.; and his devoted wife of 35 years, Julie Jernigan Booher. Bobby was born January 11, 1943 in Pensacola where he attended local schools and Pensacola Junior College. He retired from the Pensacola News Journal after serving in retail advertising for thirty-four years. He performed exemplary graphic art work, creating and designing an array of commemorative gold and silver coins for the city of Pensacola. He was past president of the Gulf Coast Calligraphy Guild and a member of the Pensacola Gulf Coast Bonsai Society. He was a collector of local history, art, and books. He was a member of East Brent Baptist Church and taught the "Whosoever Will" class of the Singles Ministry. He is survived by his daughter, Ivey Morgan Booher Williams, of Pace, FL; his faithful wife, Patsy; and stepsons, Damon (Dorothy) Morgan of Andalusia, AL and Kevin (Sheri) Morgan of Huntsville, AL; brother, Charlie Booher; Sister, Roberta Stumfall, and niece, Dana Stumfall of Pensacola; nephew, Derek (Carrie) Stumfall of Houston, TX and a hosts of extended family and friends.
