My great-grandfather, John Beal McCaskill was the 2nd of 6 children born to Sarah Saphire (Bunyard) & John McCaskill.

He and Eliza Loftis married Dec 2, 1902 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Beal McCaskill Buried at Hennepin

Funeral rites for Beal McCaskill, 67, were held at the Baptist church in Hennepin last Thursday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. Jim House, assisted by Judson Cook. Burial was in the Hennepin cemetery.

Mr. McCaskill, who had resided near Hennepin for more than half a century, died in an Oklahoma City hospital Wednesday morning following a major operation. He had been ill about two years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth McCaskill, three sons, Boyd McCaskill of Texhoma, Okla.; Lowell McCaskill of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Ward McCaskill of Elmore City, route 2; one daughter, Mrs. Addie Lee Price of Tussey, Okla.; a brother, Joe McCaskill of Elmore City; a sister, Mrs. Etta Jones of Richmond, Va., and 11 grandchildren.
