Also surviving are his mother, Mary Potter of Wyoming; three children, Roger B. (Carolyn) Potter, Jr. of Wyoming, Kristina (Joseph) Avery of Wyoming, and Cody (BreAnna) Potter of Toulon; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Tessah, and Weston B. Potter, Dawson and Alyssa Dyken, Jaxson Avery, and Adley, Layla, and Landyn Potter; six siblings, Susie (Paul) Lantz of Wyoming, Marvin (Lisa) Potter of Wyoming, Jeff (Marlena) of Livermore, CA, Teresa (Kevin) Foster of Williamsfield, Rolly (Jenn) Potter of Princeville, and Michele (Bob) Bohm of Wyoming; one adopted brother, Aaron Robbins of Chillicothe; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton; his sister, Elizabeth "Ebbie" Potter-Aguilar; and brother, Ronnie "Roco" Potter.
Roger was owner and operator of Potter & Sons Blacktopping, INC. in Wyoming for 35 years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and member of the AOA Outlaws and president of the Northwest Crew in Wyoming. He loved hunting and fishing. Roger's family was his world. He was a loving husband of 43 years, and he treasured the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
His visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Haskell Funeral & Cremation Services in Wyoming. Burial will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Wyoming Cemetery.
