Darrell Usher, age 70, passed away Saturday morning in the Sedan City Hospital. Funeral services were held today at 2:00 p.m. at the Graves-Baird Chapel in Sedan with the Rev. Ed Joyce of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
He was born February 22, 1904, to Orin and Martha (Woody) Usher; and he married Constance (Good) in Alva, Oklahoma, on November 15, 1927. She survives at the home. He has been a resident of Sedan for the past thirty years where he was an electrician and owner of the Phillips 66 Service Station.
Survivors include one son, Leon, of Caney; two daughters, Evelyn Crawford of Peru and Wanda White of Sedan; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Frazier of Wichita, and Mrs. Geneva Goode and Mrs. Ocie Lee Gentry, both of Neodesha; one brother Arthur of Bentonville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
