David Clay Hogan, Sr., 76, of Lakeland passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Baptist Hospice House in Collierville. He was a former resident of Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova. Dr. Steve Gaines will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cane Creek Cemetery near Rives.
Visitation will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
David was born January 25, 1945, in Obion County, son of the late Harvey Clay and Velma (Collier) Hogan. He married Linda (Murphy) Hogan August 30, 1968. David retired from Memphis based Baptist Memorial Health Care where he was the Chief Operating Officer.
David is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Linda; one son, David Clay Hogan, Jr. and wife Carrie-Ann and one daughter Lacy Hogan Hurley and husband Greg; five grandchildren, Ivy Collier Hogan, David Clay Hogan III, Gregory Vance Hurley Jr., Breck Hogan Hurley, and Doak Lido Hurley; and one sister, Patricia Watts.
