He is survived by five nieces, Mrs. James Farris, Valley Station, Kentucky; Mrs. Marshall Roberts, Fern Creek, Kentucky; Mrs. Louis Shrewsbury, Springfield, Indiana; Mrs. Gilbert Holloway and Mrs. Walter Ayers both of Louisville, Kentucky. Four nephews, Bill Lawson, Brandenburg, Kentucky; James Jones, David Jones, and Barney Jones all of Louisville, Kentucky.
Brother to Annie Powell, Mary Jones & half brother Doc Lawson.
Funeral services were held at Watterson Trail Wesleyan Church, Louisville, Kentucky. Interment was in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky directed by Embrey-Bosse Funeral Home.
