Harold H. Heath, 1913–1998
Harold H. Heath, 84, of Hillcrest Home, Geneseo, Ill., passed away on Tues., May 26, 1998, at the home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., May 30, 1998, at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Homes, Myers Chapel, Geneseo. Pastor David Huffman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Kewanee. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Heath was employed as an industrial engineer at Hinson Manufacturing, Waterloo, Iowa. He later worked at Empire Clothing, Kewanee, Ill., and at Pearson Brothers, Galva, Ill. He retired in 1980.
Mr. Heath was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Herrin, Ill., to Homer and Kathryn (Hesler) Heath. He was reared and educated in Rochelle, Ill., and graduated from Rochelle High School. He married Alice Moss on May 10, 1941, in Waterloo. She died March 27, 1987. He was an active member of Geneseo Church of Christ and a former member of the Masons, Eastern Star and the Shrine Club of Waterloo.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Laura Heath, Kewanee, and Fred Heath, Cambridge, Ill.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin Heath, Topeka, Kan. He also was preceded in death by two brothers.
