Robert L. Scarbrough, 64-year-old veteran of World War I, died Tuesday evening in the Veterans hospital in McKinney, Tex., where he had been admitted only the day before.
Funeral services are set for Friday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock at the Boswell Baptist church, of which he was a member, Lampton Funeral Home, Hugo, will make burial in Crowder Springs Cemetery.
Born at Leonard, Tex., August 17, 1895, Mr. Scarbrough was a retired farmer. He had been in failing health, due to World War I combat injuries, but had been critically ill only about two weeks. He had been a patient in a hospital in Durant before being moved to the Veterans hospital.
Survivors are his wife, a son whose home is south of Unger; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Hasty, Hugo, and Mrs. Maude Roberts, Boswell.
