Mr. Bohn came to Calistoga from his native Germany in 1892, and soon after arriving here married Katy Heller. For years he operated a tailor shop at his home on Washington Street, making all kinds of men's wear, including suits.
He was survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Bruno Luebeck of China, Arthur L. Bohn, Mrs. A. R. Cavagnaro, Otto A. Bohn, Mrs. Roy Ballard, Mrs. Glenn Grier, and Paul Bohn.
The funeral was held at the McArthur Parlors with Rev. C. E. Polhemus of the Community Church officiating, and Calistoga Lodge of Odd Fellows participating. The only music was an organ solo, "Nearer, My God, to Thee," played by request by Mrs. C. A. Carroll.
