Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister passed from this life on Wednesday, November 7th 2007 after a valiant three year struggle with renal disease. Mom spent much of her life traveling and living in the western United States. She returned home to Utah in 1972. Mom was a talented seamstress; she loved to garden and her home was always filled with plants and the smell of freshly baked bread. She spent her life loving and serving all those with whom she came in contact. She had little of the things of this world, but would gladly give you all she had. Mom was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We express our sincere gratitude to all those who lovingly provided care and friendship, especially in her last three years.
Cora Nell is survived by three daughters Carole (Greg) Hale, Karen (Richard) Sorenson, and Marianne (Tyler) Lewis; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; siblings Art (Vara) Mitchell, Carl Mitchell, Grant (Cecie) Mitchell, Meda Giovannoni, and Howard (Sherry) Mitchell.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Herriman 1st Ward 12791 So. 6000 W. where friends may call an hour prior. Funeral directors Broomhead Funeral Home.
