Mildred 'Mimi' Noe Lancaster was blessed with a peaceful passing on October 18, 2021, at the age of 81. Mimi had 7 children . Also surviving is one brother. Mimi was very proud of her 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren . Steeped in Catholic faith, Mimi came into this world with the nuns being born at Mary Immaculate hospital in Lebanon, was schooled by the nuns at St. Dominic and St. Catharine in Springfield and left this world living with the nuns at the Loretto Motherhouse. She shared her birthday with Jesus and is looking forward to a combined birthday party this year! Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Augustine School where all the Lancaster children and many of her grandchildren were educated and where Mimi was a pre-school volunteer for several years. There will be a funeral Mass on Saturday, October 23rd at 10:30 AM at St. Augustine Church in Lebanon, KY. Visitation will start at 8:30 AM on Saturday at the church with burial at the Springfield Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
