Mrs. Bird Adams Blood of McAlester died Sunday at the Mitchell Manor Nursing Center. She was 101. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pryor Cemetery Chapel with William M. Reidt officiating. Interment will be at Pryor Cemetery, Stuart, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Mrs. Blood was born May 18, 1891 in Bethel Springs, Tenn. to Richard and Aurilla Murry. She came to Oklahoma in 1908 and lived most of her life in this area. In 1912 she and Charlie Adams were married. He preceded her in death in 1954. In 1959 she married Don Rogers who died in 1960. She later married Dalton Blood, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Stuart. Survivors include a daughter in law, Burnie Adams of Mesa, Ariz.; three granddaughters, Sandra Jolly of Justin, Calif., Raydeen Boister of Merced, Calif. and Dixie Vann of Grants Pass, Ore.; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Blood was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Adams.
