She Was Probably Stafford's Oldest Resident
Mrs. Mary A. Blake, of near Berea, in Stafford county, who was Miss Mary Anderson, sister of Matthew D. Anderson, formerly of Fredericksburg, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. E. Davis, in Stafford, Tuesday evening, aged 90 years and 7 months.
The deceased was a woman of the highest Christian character, a member of Berea Baptist church for a long number of years and was generally beloved by a large circle of relatives and friends. She is survived by seven children, Messrs. W. N. Blake, of Fredericksburg; R. P. Blake, of Richmond; L. A. Blake, of Stafford; E. C. Blake, of Washington; Mrs. Alice Davis and Mrs. J. R. Chartters, of Stafford, and Miss Sue H. Blake, of Baltimore.
Funeral service will be held Thursday.
