Alva "Jean" Honaker, age 80, of Alexandria, entered the gates of Heaven on October 13, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Flat Lick, Kentucky, on February 9, 1941, a daughter of Bill and Cordia Gambrel Graham. She loved her family. Nothing brought her more joy than having her children together. She loved quilting and made sure her children and grandchildren received a quilt she had made especially for them. She loved bingo, red birds, teapots, crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Everyone knew never to call her between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. and interrupt her shows. She was one heck of cook, whether it was a big country breakfast, chicken and dumplings, chocolate pie or the traditional Thanksgiving feast.

She is survived by: six children, Teddy Price, Tim (Michelle) Price, Darris (Betty) Price, Rhonda Slominski, John (Deborah) Clouse, Joe (Leurie) Clouse and Heather (Steve) Terry; nine siblings, Billy (Shirley) Graham, Mike (Sheila) Graham, Vina Kirk, Morene (Jim) Burch, Sharron Snyder, Terri Brown, Betty (Homer) Vanover, Lynn (Ancil) Sowders and Connie (Randy) Mills; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a special friend, Ralph Hobbs. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gerald Honaker; a son, Jeffrey Clouse; a grandson, David Michael Price; two brothers, Lewis "Bud" Graham and Curtis Graham; a sister, Eunice Williamson; a sister-in-law, Sharron Graham; and three brothers-in-law, Dean Snyder, Eddie Kirk and Wiley Brown.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, at Cooper Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., and burial will immediately follow at Alexandria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Epilepsy Alliance Ohio, 895 Central Avenue #550, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, in Jean's memory. The family would like to extend its appreciation to Saint Elizabeth Hospice.
