"Lawrence Raymond Thomas, 54, of 3023 Grand, died Thursday at the General hospital. He was a lifelong resident here. Mr. Thomas was a plasterer and was a member of the Plasterers union local No. 17. He was a Catholic. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lola Thomas of the home; a brother, John F. Thomas of 1 West Sixty-fourth, North; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Carr of Camdenton, Mo., Miss Mary K. Thomas of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Campbell of Leavenworth, Kas.; and two stepsons, Harry L. Davidson of California and Robert W. Davidson of Tennessee. Services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday at Passantino chapel; burial in East Slope Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, January 1, 1966
