Dorothy Durham Harper passed away peacefully at her home in Hiram Ga on October 11, 2021 at the age of 94. Dorothy was born in Dallas, Ga to the late Gilbert and Bertie Durham on June 5, 1927.
In her earlier years, Dorothy loved to cook for her family and friends. Everyone enjoyed her delicious meals and wonderful desserts. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting, and playing the piano. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
From childhood, Dorothy had a strong love for God and for the Bible, and was always eager to study it with others.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Terry Linnell Harper; by her parents, Gilbert Thomas Durham and Bertie Estelle Durham; by her siblings: Gilbert Durham Jr, Lorene Campbell, Royce Durham and Frances Lewis. She is survived by her children: Lorraine Endicott of Palmetto, Ga, Daniel Harper of Kanab, Utah, Bonnie Law of Dallas, Ga, Dottie Wise of Hiram, Ga and Heidi Leggett of Cape Canaveral, Fla. Her grandchildren: Curtis Endicott, Dawn Eason, Jason Harper, Justin Law, Emily Bently, Cody Blevins, Garrett Womac, Rachel Drinnon, Ashleigh Drinnon, Amber Drinnon, Tyler Drinnon, Danny Drinnon, as well as 21 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for all the kind words and prayers offered on their behalf.
Mrs. Harper will be cremated and services will be announced at a later date.
