Loving husband of the late Lois E. Brown, nee Nord. Devoted father of Gail (Rick) Badeusz, and Nancy (Rick) Townsend. Proud grandfather of Paul (Kathy) Jensen, Michele (Don) Niemeyer, Rachael (Andrew) Eriks, Oliver Ryan, and Emily (Ray Schenkel) Townsend; great-grandfather of 8. Brother-in-law of Carol (Jack) Fox, and the late Eileen Wiberg.
Visitation Friday, October 15, 2021, from 3 – 8 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, with Rev. Mike Talaga officiating.
Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL.
Ray loved God, his family, golf, fishing, trains, the Indy 500, and the Chicago Cubs. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
