He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Schindler; 2 grandsons, Jeremy Andrew, and Brandon Schindler; 2 sisters, Shirley Schindler, and Carol Jean Sheipline; 2 brothers, Raymond Sheipline, Jr., and George Sheipline; 2 sisters-in-law, Lynn Sheipline, and Bonnie Kemp; and a brother-in-law, Jack Wooley.
Bob retired from Superior Tube Co., Wapakoneta, and later worked at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta, in grounds maintenance. He was a 50 year member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, Wapakoneta. Bob enjoyed mowing grass at the Buckland United Church of Christ. He also enjoyed fishing, pitching horseshoes, bowling, and sitting on the porch watching hummingbirds.
Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m., Sat. Oct. 16, 2021, at Buckland Cemetery, with Pastor Adrian Sunday officiating. The family will receive family and friends 1-3 p.m., Sat. at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to the MDS-Childhood Cancer Research.
