Mrs. Mary Hill Tiede
MEDARYVILLE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hill Tiede, 78, who died Saturday morning in the Little Company of Mary Health Facility at San Pierre, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Querry Funeral Home. The Rev. Wendell Parman, of the Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services. She was born Aug. 1, 1889, in Mammoth Cave, Ky. She moved to Medaryville 52 years ago. She married Dec. 19, 1906, in Bloomington, Ill., to John Hill. He died in 1947. She married John F. Tiede April, 1957. Surviving with her husband are seven sons, Artist, Sheldon, Ill., Milton, Medaryville, Ivan and Kenneth, Valparaiso, Ernest, North Judson, Melvin, Columbus, O., and James Hill of Wishram, Wash.; two stepsons, Robert, Hammond, John, Rensselaer; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Janet Brown, Rensselaer; 15 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
