Mary K. Naumann, age 74 of New Franken, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 8, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 26, 1947 in Green Bay to the late Arthur and Rose (DeGrave) Sawyer. She was united in marriage to Harvey Naumann on June 24, 1972 in Green Bay.

Mary graduated from St. Joseph Academy and later attended St. Norbert's College for two years. She went on to work for many years as a librarian at UW-Green Bay. In her free time, Mary enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading and playing bridge. She was a member of the Green Bay Botanical Gardening Club, St. Louis Catholic Church for over 40 years and the St. Louis church book club. She volunteered her time for over 25 years as a religious education teacher and also helped out with the church auction.

Left to cherish Mary's memory are her three daughters, Gretchen (Rick) Gloudeman, Stephanie (Craig) Steinfeldt and Kate (Patrick Garland) Naumann; four grandsons, Nicholas (Cole) Lenhardt, Max and Alex Steinfeldt and Brian Garland; and sister, Sue Sawyer. She is further survived by numerous in laws, nieces, nephews and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Harvey Naumann.

Per Mary's wishes a private family service will be held. Mary and Harvey will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
