Second son/child of immigrants from England and Ireland, James was born in Manhattan. Grandpa died when I was just 12 years old in 1985. I do not remember much about him other than the fact that he and Grandma lived just a few blocks from me and I spent a lot of time there during my childhood. I miss him dearly. His older brother, William, is also buried at this cemetery, over by the reflecting pool.
