Mrs. Winters was born in Ripley, Ohio and came to Baldwin as a child. Her husband Ferdinand Winters, died in May 1938. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Vinland and of the Royal Neighbors.
Mrs. Mary E. Winters, 81, a resident of Baldwin since 1886, died last evening at Topeka Hospital, where she had been a patient two years.

Surviving are three sons, Harry Winters and Charles Winters, Lawrence, and Alfred Winters, Wichita; three daughters, Mrs. Belle House, Emporia
Mrs. Frances Macey, California, and Mrs. Minnie Randall, Baldwin, and two sisters, Mrs. D. M. Fisher and Mrs. Clara Kassinger, both of Baldwin

Funeral Services will be held at the Stanley Funeral Home at Baldwin, Sunday at 2:30 p. m. with the Rev. Willis Warner in charge.
