Anita Pauline Pimpler, 89, of Cameron died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. James T. Wheeless officiating. Burial will follow in the Ben Arnold Cemetery in Ben Arnold. Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pimpler, a homemaker, was born October 11, 1916 to Edward and Emma (Abel) Adler in Wallis, Texas. She was baptized and confirmed in the Luthern faith at an early age. She later moved with her parents to Milam County and there became a member of St. James Evangelical & Reform Church where she married Edmund Pimpler on November 11, 1936. She and her husband were faithful members of the Christian Fellowship Church of Ben Arnold (formerly United Church of Christ in Ben Arnold) for many years. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leonard, Emil and Mike Adler and two sisters Elenora Sitz and Emelia Werchen.
Survivors include: Husband, Edmund Pimpler of Cameron; Sons, Harold Gene Pimpler & wife Carol of Temple and Donald Ray Pimpler & wife Peggy of Cameron; Brother, Edward Adler of Belton; Grandchildren, Shelia Haddock & husband Keith, Eric Pimpler & wife Shanon, Grant Pimpler & wife Kristen and Amy Colquette & husband Eric; Great grandchildren, Hunter Haddock, Whitney & Elizabeth Pimpler.
