Norman Joe Allinder, 58, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2007, in McLoud, OK. Norm was born on Aug. 30, 1949 in Conway, AR, to Thomas L. and Mildred (Henry) Allinder. He graduated from Conway High School in 1967. His parents, and both sets of grandparents precede him in death. Norm in survived by his loving and caring wife of 26 years, Debbie of the home; a son, Leon Allinder and his wife Sarah of Modesto, CA; daughter, Nita O'Neill of the home; 2 granddaughters, Bethany and Megan; a brother, Tommy and his wife Phyllis of Russellville, AR; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends. He entered the US Air Force and served over 26 years in the Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Field. He retired in 1994, at the grade of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). He was employed by Karta Technologies working at OC-ALC for over 11 years in the Aircraft Maintenace Wing. He was a Life Member of VFW Post 2259 of Conway, AR, American Legion Post 73 of Del City, and a very active member of Midwest City Elks Lodge #1890 and the Oklahoma ELKS Association. Funeral Services will be held on Sun., Dec. 9, 2007, at the American Legion Hall Post 73 of Del City, at 2 pm, under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, OK.
