He served 4 Ú years in the US Army during WWII, including 3 years in Northern Africa. Mr. Crawford retired from the US Postal Service. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and Treasurer of the Henry Bible Class. Mr. Crawford was a life member of NARFE.
Family members in addition to his wife are daughter: Sallyanne Crawford Barrow and her husband James Barrow, Jr. of Stephens, GA, sister-in-law: Mrs. Hinton E. Crawford of North Augusta, SC, grandsons: James Barrow, Samuel Pope Barrow. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev.
