Raymond was born and raised in Jersey City's Marion Section and remained a long time resident. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Ronald and Ann Marie Meyers (nee Baratta) and his sister Angela Meyers.
Raymond leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother Ronald J. Meyers and his wife Galina Meyers, His sisters Annette McKenna and her husband Thomas F. McKenna and Roseann Meyers. And nephews Jay A. D'Angelo and Ryan T. McKenna.
