Laura was the daughter of Daniel Steffy and Ascenith Forbes. She married John Morgan Kefover August 29, 1866 in Muscatine County, IA. They were the parents of Anna Bell (1867, James Edward Nichols), Sarah Alberta (1869, John Alfa Owens 1863 ME alive in 1910), Plummer Warren (1871), Myrtle (1873), and John Morgan (1877). I think Brighton Cemetery and Hillcrest cemetery are the same.
