Funeral services for Audrey Gartica Bouldin, 86, of Bay City, will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Bay City, with burial to follow at Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Audrey was born to the late Leno and Roxie Gartica, in Matagorda, TX on May 10, 1931. There she was raised along with her 13 other siblings. Although she was blessed with a large and loving family she only birthed 2 children, Patricia and Donald "David" helped to raise a step-daughter Cassandra and raised a grandson Charles. She was married to Charles Bouldin on June 24, 1967 and they remained together for 32 years until his untimely death on October 3, 1999.
She accepted a position at Matagorda General Hospital in the pediatrics unit where she remained for many years.
Audrey spent the majority of her adult life serving in the Bethel Baptist Church on the ushers and nurses board and she taught Sunday School class. She was a mighty woman of God that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She was an expression of God's love to her family and friends.
She had a Bachelor's Degree in Love.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leno and Roxie Gartica; 3 brothers-Wallace Gartica, Buddy Gartica & Gene Gartica; 4 sisters-Roxie Chenier, Hollis Word, Sophronia Burrell & Gladys Young.
Audrey leaves to cherish her memory 3 brothers-Andrew (Albertha) Gartica, Manuel (Barbara) Gartica, Isaiah Gartica; 3 sisters-Ernestine Perkins, Lorine Calyen, Amy Gartica; 3 children-Patricia Parr, Donald Ray (Carmen) Spencer; & Cassandra Bouldin; 6 grandchildren-Charles Spencer, Tina Dunbar, Matthew Spencer, Quila Bouldin, Peter Spencer, Joseph Spencer, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
