"Mrs. Elizabeth H. Schoonover, 83, of 6215 N.W. 66th Terrace, died Friday at the home. She was born in Parkville and was a lifeong resident of Platte County. Mrs. Schoonover was a member of Northmoor Assembly of God Church. She leaves a son, Wilbur Schoonover of Savannah, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Aring of the home, Mrs. Ernestine Scrivens of Platte City and Mrs. Ruby Richards of 6543 N. Edison; two brothers, Fredrick Linder of Overland Park and Harry Linder of Parkville; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Barnes of Kearney in Clay County, Mrs. Elsie Stewart of New Orleans, Mrs. Gladys Park of Joplin and Mrs. Lucy Rokach of 1986 Parvin; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McGilley Antioch Chapel; burial in East Slope Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, June 22, 1974
