She moved to Spokane in 1950 from Yakima. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin Nelson; her mother, Maude Emory of Yakima; one son, Gary Adams; one daughter, Linda Johnson, both of Spokane; one sister, Vina Zschomler of Yakima; one stepdaughter, Judy Hensley; three stepsons, Gerald, Douglas and Dale Nelson; five grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
