Kenneth Curtis Bowser, age 86, lost his struggle with cancer on Thursday April 6, 2017. He spent his last days surrounded by loved ones and peacefully passed away at his home in Fresno, CA.

Kenneth devoted his life to his family and farm. He was an avid fisherman, a lover of old westerns, and had a special place in his heart for chocolate covered cherries, and of course, his raisins.

Kenneth was an example of strength, patience, and kindness. He demonstrated the difference between right and wrong, taught his family to work hard for what they want, and to be appreciative of what they have. His giant embrace embodied safety and warmth, and the peacefulness of simply sitting with him in silence always made one feel loved.

Kenneth is survived by Eldora Bowser, his loving wife of 67 years; three daughters, Linda Pini, Karen Reed, and Sandra Rogers; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ben Bowser.

While his physical presence and strength of character will be deeply missed, his bountiful spirit will live on in the hearts of his family. We love you and may our spirits be with you on your new adventure.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel from 10:00 to 10:30 am
