Our angel on earth has traveled back to her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family. Beverly Jean peacefully joined the heavenly choir and is walking the streets of gold. She was born to Robert T. Shafer Sr. and Ruth E. Fairchild on October 10, 1933, in Johnson City, New York. Beverly Jean graduated from Johnson City School district and attended Ridley's Secretarial School. For many years she worked as a Nurses' Aide. She was employed by Wilson Memorial Hospital for several years, Endicott Nursing home for 13 years, and at the Family and Children's Society for 9 years. Beverly Jean also worked many years at the family business, Shafer's Bus Lines. She took great pride in working hard and caring for others. It was her true passion and she dedicated many years of her life to care for neighbors in the Endwell area as well as her very large family. Beverly Jean believed in the power of Jesus whom she kept a personal relationship with. She was non-denominational and enjoyed attending multiple churches in the community. She was an active participant in countless church events. Beverly Jean was predeceased by her parents, Robert T. and Ruth E. Shafer, a brother Larry Shafer, her 1st husband, Richard Clark, with whom she had six children, and her 2nd husband Marlin Morgan. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Rogers and Joyce Welch, and brother, Robert T. (Charleen) Shafer, 6 children, Karyl (Wesley) Larson, Thomas (Cindy Kay) Clark, Darla (Charles) Hunt, Laura (David) Burgos, Debra (David) Myers, Sharon (Edmund) Iswekowa, 14 grandchildren, Deborah, John-Paul, Rebekah, Thomas Jr., Curtis, Chad, Jade, Samuel, Sarah, Christilyn, Benjamin, Valerie, Richard, and Christina, 25 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
