Betty Joyce (Bartley) Black, age 84 of Mission, TX passed away on September 8, 2021. She was born March 4, 1937, in Walnut Hill, Florida to Milage and Glady Bartley. She was a long-time member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and a professional seamstress and homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael M. Black; daughter, Elizabeth Slay; brother, Pete Bartley and sister, Barbara Ann Bartley.

She is survived by her children, Trent Faircloth, and his wife Anani of Mission, Texas; Marcia Wiseman of Mission, Texas and Keefe Faircloth and his wife Cindy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her sister, Martha Stacey of Atmore, Alabama; Grandchildren, Selena Phillips Hutton of Pensacola Florida, Jason Phillips of Pensacola Florida, Tabitha Stephens of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, Haley Gray of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Miranda Gonzales of Tulsa, Oklahoma and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery with Rev Ted Bridges officiating.
