Richard L. Abrisch Sr., 79, of Hanover, passed away Saturday October 2, 2021, with his loving Wife of 57 years, Shirley L. (Howard) Abrisch by his side.

Richard was born on April 15, 1942, at Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, MD and was a son of the late Peter Richard Abrisch, and Evelyn Elizabeth (Lancaster) Norton, of Hanover.

Richard owned his own siding business for many years and retired from Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and enjoyed time spent with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife Shirley, and his mother Evelyn, Richard is survived by a son Todd L. Abrisch and his wife Lorraine of Hanover; a daughter Amy L. Abrisch of Hanover; two sisters, Janet Barbe and Patricia Hastings both of Baltimore, Md; three brothers, James Abrisch of Red Lion, Paul Gangi, and Mark Gangi, both of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Cheyenne Abrisch of DE, Ricky Abrisch III of Wrightsville, Nathan Abrisch, Alyssa Abrisch both of Hanover, and Byron Atkins of Thomasville; and a great granddaughter, Savannah O'Haire of DE. He was preceded in death by a son Richard L. Abrisch II; a grandson Will Abrisch; and two brothers Carroll and Arthur Abrisch.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, October 9th from 2:30PM until the funeral service begins at 3:30PM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA. Pastor Robert Ivins will officiate.
