I did a bit more research. On his mother's death certificate (Family Search ID FPNW-J56) it lists Andrew Jr as living in Colombia, NC (probably before his final days at the state hospital). This is a small town in Tyrrell County, NC.

His mother's death certificate lists her burial at Chapel (Chappel) Hill Church. No town is listed on the death certificate, just the Scuppernong (which is in Tyrrell County) township.
Most likely, if he was not buried at the state hospital cemetery in Goldsboro he would have been buried with his family. Probably in a black-only cemetery at black only church. A phone call to the Tyrrell County, NC, Register of Deeds office, might help find this info.
