EDWARD JESSOP

Funeral services for Edward Jessop, 74, a former resident of Green River, were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Smith Funeral Home in Green River. Pastor Thrumand Petty officiated and burial was in the Riverview Cemetery.

Mr. Jessop died Friday, Dec. 2, in Loveland, Colo. at the McKee Medical Center.

Pallbearers were Richard Boelter, Gary Butsch, Ed Jessop, Ross Martin, Allen Forslin and Elmer Forslin.

He was born Oct. 23, 1923 in Great Britain, the son of William and Winifred Neal Jessop. He married Rachel V. Monahon, March 1, 1928 in Green River.

Mr. Evans was a machinist for the Union Pacific Co. He retired in 1964. He was living in Loveland, and had previously resided in Green River.

He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 23, 1960, and one son, Ronald E. Jessop.

Survivors include one son, Donald Jessop, Rawlins; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Boelter, Loveland; one brother, James R. Jessop, Rock Springs; two sisters, Winifred Schultz, Burns, Oregon, Mrs. Zan (Annie) Keller, Cheyenne. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
