The Callaways are among the 250 individuals and about 55 wagons traveling with the James C. Snow Company. This church wagon train began its journey from the outfitting post at Kanesville, Iowa, now Council Bluffs, on July 5, 1852. Members of the company began arriving in the Salt Lake Valley on October 9-10.
