Her occupation as an artist was exhibited by Diane in some of her work and she liked everything crafty. One of her specialities was teaching kid's crafts at Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Foreman, AR. Diane's eventual spouse Wayne Nolen was working at a soda fountain in a city pharmacy in Foreman, AR. They met and eventually became sweethearts having celebrated almost 52 years of wedded bliss as their wedding anniversary is in December.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Everett and Idell Gabbard, two brothers, Louis Ray and Tony Gabbard, and four sisters, Barbara, Betty, Clara Mae and Deborah.
Survivors include her spouse Harold Wayne Nolen of Foreman, AR, son Bobby Nolen of Foreman, AR, daughter Casey Rose (Christopher) of Foreman, AR, and one brother Leroy Gabbard of Miami, OK. Other survivors are her three grandchildren, Michael Nolen (Danna), Kimberly Nolen and Colton Rose and one great-grandchild Aurora.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Foreman, AR with Trent Leggins officiating. Interment will be at Gravelly Cemetery in Foreman, AR.
