Joyce Bernice Williams (Pryor) was called home to glory on September 19, 2021. She was born in Montgomery County, Maryland, to the late Charles Pryor, Jr. and Bernice S. Pryor. She was the wife of the late Jeffrey Williams.

Joyce attended Thomas Johnson Middle School and Linganore High School. She was in Brownies and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and sewing. Joyce worked at Trans Tech, American Optical, and Aecom for numerous years. She served faithfully in the church. Joyce enjoyed eating out and spending time with friends and family.

Joyce was the mother of Catherine Champion and has three grandchildren, Bradley Dorsey, Darrian Champion, and Kaliyah Chiselom. She also leaves behind: three brothers, Larry W. Pryor, Wyoming, Stevie and Kathy Pryor, Waynesboro, PA, and Charles Pryor, III, Waynesboro, PA; sister, Maudelene Brown, New Market, MD; two aunts, Roberta Johnson, York, PA and Gloria Lyles, Silver Spring, MD; devoted godson, Larry Pryor, Jr.; five good friends, Lillian Ware, Carolyn Henderson, Catherine Biggus, Diane Myers, and Linda Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Etheridge, and nephew, Anthony Hall.
