Louella Turberville, age 81, went to join the family and friends she has missed so much on Sat. April 18 at 4:40 PM at Mt Carmel/St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.

She was born in Ross County to the late Clarence and Ora (Burlile) Ater on Dec. 14, 1933. She lived all her adult life in Columbus, Ohio. She worked at Woolworth's before marrying and raising 4 daughters. She was a stay at home mom for many years & babysat to help support her family. She went to work for Backulich Maintenance and Repair and after that she worked at Learners, Home Insurance and Penco Insurance before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and friends, reading romance books and watching Nascar. She especially loved rooting for Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson.

Louella is survived by 3 of her daughters: Marilyn Coatney, Edith (Tim) Miller & Sherry (Kevin Carpenter) Miller. She has 8 Grandchildren: Shelly Legg, Debra Chambers, Kris (Doug Bush) Chambers, Shawn Williams, Chuck Moore, Scott (Danielle Brakefield) Williams, Stephen (Brittney) Williams, Bill Moore & Alisha Miller. Louella was also the proud Great-Grandmother of 13: Preston Williams, Liana (Thor Lindsey) Legg, Tiffanie Scott, Shyanne Hager, Lance Williams, Marley Pruitt, Tristen Williams, Carter Williams, Gracie Williams, Jordan Moore, Courtney More, Alex Chambers, Elizabeth Gleason and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren: Willow and Kal Lindsey. She also has 2 surviving sisters: Joy Neiberline and Karen Neiberline. Also surviving are 2 brothers: Floyd Ater and Ben (Pat) Ater, and many nieces and nephews.

Louella was preceded in death by her husband: William E. Turberville; daughter: Debra Turberville, Grandchildren: Emily and Sidney Legg; Parents: Clarence and Ora Ater; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at the Ohio Cremation and Memorial Society/Rodman-Snyder Memorial Center, 5464 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214 with visiting hours two hours prior.
